Enrol

We’re excited to welcome you into our community!

Enrolment is a simple process designed to help us both get to know each other better and for you to see if St Nics’ Christian Preschool is a good fit for you.

Step 1: Get in Touch

Express your interest in enrolling at St Nics’ Christian Preschool as soon as you’re able to. Speak to our enrolment officer, Joanne on 9665 7777, or fill in an obligation-free Waitlist Form here. If you have other questions, contact us.

Step 2: Book a Tour

We’ll be in touch to organise a time for you to visit us to explore our space and learn more about us as a preschool. This is your chance to get a feel of our community, and ask any questions. We highly encourage you to bring your child to the tour, for them to get a taste of what preschool might be like, and to see how they find it. Contact us today to book your tour.

Step 3: Enrol!

Following the tour, if you’d like to proceed with your child’s enrolment, we’ll ask you to sign an enrolment agreement, as well as our philosophy.

Step 4: Get to Know Us

Parents and child come for an orientation time where all our policies a practices are explained and any questions can be answered, whilst your child plays and gets to know their new surrounds (1 hour).

Step 5: Stay’n’Play

Then we have 2 Stay’n’Play sessions:

1st Stay’n’Play: your child and yourself come for an hour to play and get to know the preschool program, their educators, and, their new friends.

2nd Stay’n’Play: your child attends by themselves, if they wish, for a second play for an hour.

We offer all these familiarising avenues in order to expose your child to our programs, create a comfort zone for them, and integrate them into our beautiful preschool before your child spends their first full day at St. Nics.

Step 6: The First Day

This is the big day! We’ll be here to greet you and your child at the gate, and to welcome you into a preschool like no other.

Childcare Subsidy Information

What is Childcare Subsidy (CCS)?

As a recognised early education and care service provider, we are registered for the Government Childcare Subsidy (CCS).

St. Nics' Christian Preschool is here to support you as you begin to discover your family’s CCS entitlements and enrolment options. We can help guide you to make the most of your CCS, so your child or children can benefit from the exciting opportunities that SNCP can offer.

How does CCS work?

CCS will be paid directly to SNCP to be passed on to families as a fee reduction. Families will make a co-contribution to their childcare fees and pay to SNCP the difference between the fee charged and the subsidised amount (Gap fee).

How do I know if I am eligible for CCS?

There are certain requirements that must be satisfied for an individual to be eligible to receive CCS for their child. These include:

  • The age of the child (must be 13 or under and not attending secondary school)

  • The individual, or their partner, meeting the residency requirements

  • The combined family income meeting the specified requirement

  • The child meeting immunisation requirements

  • The activity level of your family.
